I've always been told that NG goes to the same BCT as Army recruits, and also are stationed in some of the same bases. Also when they are sent, they are "absorbed" into an Army company, is this true? Thanks all!

@1siccej Go look up the pay scale because it depends on your Rank plus time in grade. the national guard website has a calculator for enlisted and officers.

I just joined ARNG as a 92F, no bonuses as far as I can tell, but getting paid for training is enough for me, and the GI Bill for doing a 6 year contract.
@TardMan158 there is a mandatory 8 year commitment..even if you conscript for 6 years.

how much is the pay for some one who joins the army natioal guard? like how much do they get paid&how often??&is it the same for army reserves?
MOS are all limited as of now…HARDLY any bonuses are being offered…AT ALL! just so everyone knows and is aware
