    Two questions from this video i see there is two 13k forced marches. And how long are recruits in field now.Looks to me like it is more then the 1 week it used to be in cornwallis.

    The rifle is 8.5 pounds loaded. The helmet is maybe 5 pounds. The heaviest part of the webbing is usually the water – in the summer you carry 3 litres. The rest of the webbing isn’t too heavy.
    The 13km march isn’t very difficult, no one who made it that far in BMQ should drop out. If they do then they haven’t been pushing themselves hard enough.

    77 lbs +webgear, helmet, rifle..etc…etc

    JredLapeair add webgear with ammunition, water..etc to that, rifle, helmet

    and depending on your job you may have to carry more

    over 100 lbs in gear

    the pack is 35 kg, which is 77 lbs, then on top of that they have webgear with ammo, water..etc..etc whatever else, prob another 30, then depending on your job you may have more gear as well, no idea how much the helmet weighs, and the rifle is prob 13-16 lbs who knows, empty magazine id assume

    actually it totals about 80lbs(depends on how hard your instructors wanna make it he said they were weighing in at 35kgs which is 77lbs)
