Can anyone recommend a legitimate recruitment agency for Canadian/North American teachers to teach in England?

Question by Mari: Can anyone recommend a legitimate recruitment agency for Canadian/North American teachers to teach in England?
I am a certified elementary teacher living in Canada. There are absolutely no teaching jobs where I live in Canada, and I am now seriously considering teaching in England. However, I am not very familiar with England and could use any advice I can get. I have looked into a few recruitment agencies through their online services, but am not sure which one to go with. Does anyone have a positive experience they could share with me? Any advice/info would be greatly appreciated!

When teaching in the States with the Visiting International Faculty (www.vifprogram.com) program in the States there were many Canadians in the program.

You might also want to consider International School Services (www.iss.edu) and Search Associates (www.search-associates.com). They place teachers all around the world, including England. You could teach anywhere in the world and after getting a few years experience earn far more than you do at home, while getting to travel heaps!

Let me know if you have any more questions.
