You simply start out by getting a job at the college as a custodian. While swinging a mop, you’ll have to hobnob with the guys in the athletic department to demonstrate your knowledge of the game. If you can prove your worth and have some talent yourself, you might work your way up the ladder and get an expense account that will enable you to travel around the country to scope prospective recruits.
