meeting, they have more pepole then they could want, their actually trying to downsize cause almost every branch is overmanned
RE-3 – Individuals who are not qualified for continued Army service, but the disqualification is waiverable. Ineligible for enlistment unless a waiver is granted.
There are several RE3 codes, and it depends on why you were given that code. With the current climate in Recruiting however, goals are being easily reached every month so “second chances” are doubtful. You can apply for a waiver.
We’re still meeting our goals. If you want to try to get back in see an Army recruiter. We’re still giving waivers for RE-3s depending on what you was discharged for (no waivers if you was specifically discharged for drug use).
not any time soon. CFY 2011 looks to be just as hard to get a waiver as FY 2010 was.
