@1984varela The ASVAB has several area/categories. The over all score of all area/categories is what we call an AFQT score. When most people ask what you scored on the ASVAB this is what their asking, AFQT=ASVAB Score=Armed Forces Qualification Test=ASVAB Test, there all the same meanings. Today, this minute, the Guard requires a 50 or higher AFQT, there are a very limited # of 31-49′s slots available but, like I wrote in extremely limited #’s. Try to score a 50 or you’ll have limited options.

@WatISayGoes1 Don’t know about Tx. but California has a limited number of 31-49 afqt slots available, the rest need to score a 50 or higher.
I was told u had to score a 50 to join the guard???? Is it different in Texas?
