Question by djmixah7: Army Recruiters?
I am currently 17 years olds and for several weeks I been speaking to an army recruiter via email so i have all the records. the recruiter is clearly lieing about the benefits involved from joining the army, but is it possible to hold the recruiter/army responsible and forcing them into giving those benefits that have been promised despite the fact they were false?

yup! however it should be in writing. make a contract and let him sign.

what type of statements false? and how do you know they are false?
you have nothing signed between the two of you, so there is no contract…so no problem….if you don’t like what he is saying, find another recruiter locally (talk in person to them) or go to a different branch of the military and see if it si any better for you.
good luck
i am in the army, ive been in for a little over six years, and no u cant force them to give it to u, but they army is hurting for people, so what u do is u tell them that yur not gonna join unless u get what u want, and it has to be reasonable, and depending on yur job that u get, and when u sign that contract and it says u get so much for school or a bonus and u dont get it, then that is called breech of contract, and they have to let u out the army,
Probably not. You can report him to his superiors in his chain of command but they will likely do nothing about it unless his lies are over the top. They are encouraged to make their quotas by any means necessary.
Hard to answer without knowing what kind of benefits he’s lying about. How do you know they are not real benefits?
You might go to another recruiter and take the emails and ask him if they are for real.
There are a lot of good benefits in the military, so do consider this as a career option.
