Title: Q&A: Calling all Army Recruiters: CAT4 waiver for the Army Reserve?
Question by pinkskies87: Calling all Army Recruiters: CAT4 waiver for the Army Reserve?
I have a 30 on my ASVAB. I want to know what your personal experience is with a CAT4 waiver. I took the test a few times and got the same score over and over.
When are they open? What kind of jobs do they usually offer?
I only want answers from recruiters or people with personal experience.

well all i can advise is dont go for truck driver or cook if they are offered to you. i was only offere the choice of one or the other i choose truck driver and it sucked. driving in Iraq for hours and hours in the heat with no air getting shot at, possibly being the next truck in the convoy to get blown to pieces “yeah dont be a truck driver.” As or cook my friend had the same options as me she choose cook and ended up in germany for her 4 year army obligation she likes germany but not her job. try for supplie or office job if possible. good luck
