Question by Julie: Can I put ‘Have a nice day’ at the end of a formal email (to recruitment agency)?
I am responding to an email from a recruitment agency. Can I put ‘ have a nice day ‘ at the end of it followed by kind regards…or is this too informal / unprofessional?

Much too informal and definitely unprofessional. Sincerely is most widely accepted .

No. I think its a bogus idea. A thank you would be sufficient.

As a former recruitment consultant, I can advise you to keep it formal. Instead, end your letter/email with “I look forward to hearing from you soon.” or “Please let me know if you should have any questions.” something to that effect anyway. Good luck!
