Q&A: Could I bring a Camera in the Recruiting office?

Question by The question asker: Could I bring a Camera in the Recruiting office?
I am going to a local recruiting office July 3rd, and want to record my interview (It’s US Army). Could I do this?

Yes, you can. There’s no regulation against it.

Absolutely, however I would like to suggest that out of fairness and respect for the Recruiter that you tell him/her you’re recording the interview. Put yourself in his/her position, wouldn’t you want to know?

yeah, why not. you cannot take a camera (or phone) with you to MEPS though. however I think you can have a camera there when you swear in, I did :)

Sounds like a great plan. Just remember that if you say yes to any of the medical questions other than “are you currently in good health?” you can expect to be let down and will have to submit waivers for each, which could take weeks to months. The recruiter is less likely to help you hide questionable conditions if he is on camera.
