The Patient Recruiting Agency announces that on March 23, 2009 it will begin recruiting patients with high blood pressure for a series of medical research studies. The studies will take place in multiple study facilities across the United States and in Puerto Rico. Study participants must be an adult at least 18 years of age with high blood pressure. The studies include different protocols evaluating the effectiveness of an FDA approved medication in reducing high blood pressure across several variables, including its effectiveness in reducing high blood pressure when used in combination with other high blood pressure medications, or its effectiveness in reducing high blood pressure in those with coronary artery disease, in those with Type 2 diabetes or in those with impaired glucose tolerance, also known as pre-diabetes.
