What are good questions to ask a recruiter over dinner?

Question by Ray L: What are good questions to ask a recruiter over dinner?
I’m attending an Evening with the Industry, which is where you have dinner with a recruiter of a company of your choice.

I was wondering what questions I should ask that would give good impression?

What does a recruiter look for in a student?

dont really ask about what the company does because they are expecting you to have done your own research and know about the company. but ask more things that you would want to know if you were working there such as what is employee turnover like/do people work there for a long time? if they are replacing people left and right then there must be problems. ask about the culture there- do employees ask each other for help, do the employees have high integrity? what advantages do they have over competitors? do they project the slowing economy will have an effect on their company (sales, lay offs) and what they are doing to safeguard it. how the interviewer himself enjoys working there/how long he’s been there?

they look for people willing to learn- definetely say things like “you just have so many smart people that i could learn from, i just want this opportunity to learn as much as a i can” and a positive attitude.
