Him to feed you a lot of bullshit, you need to see past that to get what you want from him.

He/She will ask you your name, age, height, weight, any health issues, do you have a high school diploma, are you single or married, do you have kids, any tattoos or piercings…and a couple more things like what are your interests in the army and why your choosing the army.

First, if you are really interested, make an appointment and talk face-to-face. They will ask you things like( it differs): your school and grades, jobs, what you interested in. You will have to take an entry exam if not by high school. But , your age, experience and when you go in will make a difference. Treat this interview like the biggest, best job on earth, because it can be. And, it can be your best experience too, in life. Look sharp, be patient, and be confident on your answers! Very best of luck! Ex-veteran here.

He’ll want to know if you’re a hs grad., talk to you about why you want to join, weigh and measure your height, have you take the practice ASVAB to see how you’d do on the real one. There are more questions you need to ask him.

Here’s an article with the steps to joining and what to ask the recruiter.

    Good luck.
