What questions should we ask the Air Force recruiter?

Question by Brenda: What questions should we ask the Air Force recruiter?
We will be meeting with a recruiter at the end of this week/beginning of next week. My fiancee is interested in being an air force weather apprentice. Does any one know more about this job? We are planning on getting married before he goes to basic. I think his tech school will be 8-9 months. Will I be able to live with him then?

The recruiter will most likely just be able to give him the basic information in regards to this unless by chance you’ve found a recruiter who just happens to have that background. But ask about the ASVAB, If a clearance is needed what kind of information should you start to gather, physical requirements. Ask about possibility of being stationed overseas. The recruiter will have all your answers for you. Take notes.

Those are all good questions to ask.

I would ask about enlistment bonus,

Housing since you both will be married,

    First Duty stations,

Opportunity for promotions in that MOS,

Benifits for you being his wife,

If you can see him during his tech school.

Whatever questions you feel you need to ask, really. Make the recruiter do his job.
