because most kids from hometown usa dont speak arabic or know priviliaged information about the countries were fighting in.

If i were to go to war with California, i’d want people who know Cally like the back of there hand on my team, as they could help tell me things i need to know if fighting there.

As for their allegiance, we can have a relationship with people in which they help us without getting privilaged info about us. It does work both ways, but a little disinformation from time to time helps.

The US Military have always recruited foreigners that have legal residency in the United States; but they are usually limited to certain occupations due to security reasons and their inability to obtain a security clearance. There are also many Military Occupation Specialties where foreigners knowledge or foreign expertise is a tremendous asset to US Military Operations. As we all know; many of our fallen troops were foreigners that were given their US Naturalization posthumously. I have had the priveledge to serve in the Military with many foreigners that considered it a great honor to be able to give back to the country that have given them so much, and in a few cases that meant their lives.

The military is looking for a select few Doctors, Nurses and linguists, on a 1 year pilot program. They have to be legally admitted on a visa and will be eligible for accelerated citizenship. The reason for the pilot program should be pretty self explanatory, considering the military’s chronic shortage of those 3 fields.
